Olympic opening ceremony: I tend to just enjoy these things and not slice-and-dice it too much. Love the opening scene, of course.

Gymnasts: Yummmmmmm

Inactivity killing as many as smoking: Seeing that I'm physically active and I watch how much salt I consume these days, does that mean I can resume smoking?

My favourite story is still the one about the artificial jellyfish powered by rat heart-cells. How did the idea get going? 'Hm,we've got these left-over rat hearts from our drugs research, how can we stop them going to waste? Oh -' (scientist snaps fingers) 'Iknow!' Colleagues cluster around excitedly: 'I've some jelly-moulds left over from my kid's party...'

KAOS said...

That story makes me feel sick, and a little scared. Whatever next?
